Bangalore is the best city for students in India, London tops the world

London. Global consultancy firm Quacquarelli Symonds has released a list of the best cities for students. Like last year, London is at the top of the list this year. Four cities in India, Bangalore, Mumbai, Delhi and Chennai have also found a place in the top-120. According to the survey, these rankings were based on the number of universities in a city, their performance, employment opportunities, quality of life and compatibility in the city.

These rankings were released only on Wednesday. Bengaluru is the best city for students in India. Its worldwide rank is 81. It is followed by Mumbai at 85, Delhi at 113 and Chennai at 115. QS drew responses from about 87,000 students from all over the world to prepare the list.

Best to see Bengaluru coming forward: QS

According to QS research director Ben Soter, “Our rankings reflect cities that are students’ favorites. Especially international students. India’s priority right now is to increase student access to its domestic development and higher education. So India suffered in some of our standards for international students.

Ben said, “Seeing Bengaluru in the forward cities of India is a big boost for students. Mumbai is also gaining popularity among students for studies. Delhi and Chennai do better in affordable cities for students.

The top-10 cities in the list include two cities in Asia, the QS Top-120 rankings include 14–14 cities in the US and the UK. Japan’s Tokyo ranks second and Seoul of South Korea 10th in Asia’s top cities. Hong Kong is ranked 14th, China’s Beijing 32nd and Shanghai 33rd position. 7 cities of Australia have been ranked in the ranking. This includes Melbourne (3) and Sydney (9) in the top-10.

London Mayor Sadiq Khan expressed happiness on the occasion, saying that there is no doubt that our city is the best in the world for higher education and different culture. This is evidence that London is open to all kinds of talent.
