Bitcoin {BTC} may be unpredictable, but it is already a “safe haven” for numerous investors


Bitcoin is ranked right at the top on coinmarketcap. The BTC dominance rate stands at 67.6% as of this moment. The trading volume recorded is $18.128 billion, while the supply has 17,875,375 BTC tokens in play. The total market cap of Bitcoin is $190.035 billion. BTC is priced at $10,631.12, and it had plunged by 6.41% in the course of the past 24-hours.

George Selgin, a popular economist believes that Bitcoin will never see mainstream adoption. He attributes this factor to the volatility prevalent in the market, which the common folks wish to avoid. That is why the Dollar is used, because it is stable. George wholeheartedly thinks that bitcoin won’t be able to combat against central banks.

However, Saifedean Ammous, the author of “The Bitcoin Standard” holds the opinion that Bitcoin has come a long way during the course of a decade. In fact, it has only surged forward with the passage of time. Ammous understands that the king coin still has drawbacks to overcome, but has faith in this project. He deems it as the best alternative against central banks. Saifedean considers Bitcoin to be the next step in human evolution.
