new Delhi. The bodies of three members of the same family were found hanging in the campus of the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT). Police suspect that the three committed suicide late on Friday night. However, no suicide note was found from the scene.
The deceased were identified as lab technician Gulshan Das, his wife Sunita and mother Kamata at IIT. The family lived in the campus. They were originally residents of Haryana. Gulshan was married to Sunita in February this year.
A complaint of scuffle was found in the flat, according to the police, it was reported late Friday night that there was a scuffle inside the flat. After reaching the flat, the police found the door locked. When policemen entered, they found the dead bodies hanging. The matter is under investigation.
