Authorities in Britain seized £1m worth of cryptocurrency from a hacker caught last year.

Grant West, who was found guilty of several cybercrimes last year, reportedly confiscated cryptocurrencies.

The 27-year-old was arrested last year for various cyber crimes and sentenced to ten years in prison.

Grant West, who attacked the sites of more than 100 companies worldwide, stole data from their clients and sold them for cryptocurrency.

Authorities have now decided to confiscate the cryptocurrencies that belong to him.

Grant West’s total value of the cryptocurrency of £922,978 has been seized.

According to local sources, authorities will publicly sell the confiscated cryptocurrencies and transfer the proceeds from it to Grant West’s victims.
