Changpeng Zhao believes that the bill on regulating the sphere of digital money can be adopted by the Russian government in the future. He considers Vladimir Putin as the most influential person in the blockchain space and spoke about it at the exchange’s rally on October 21 in Moscow.

Zhao also mentioned about Vitalik Buterin, suggesting that the developer will have a significant impact in the event of a successful launch of Ethereum 2.0. The head of the exchange said that he considers Binance to be the next Amazon or Facebook.

Binance may, in some cases provide user information to Russian financial regulators, said Zhao. Therefore, he warned people involved in crime not to use this trading platform. He explained,

“As a rule, we do not massively provide information to any regulator. But in individual cases – yes … therefore, if you are engaged in crime, you do not need to register for Binance,”.

In conclusion, Zhao told the story of how he sold the house to buy Bitcoin. He also predicted the growth of the first cryptocurrency by the end of this year.

“In 2014, I sold the house to buy Bitcoin. Almost immediately after that, his rate fell from $ 600 to $ 200 … fortunately, I left them and those bitcoins are still with me. So I hope for the “native” by the end of the year.”

Earlier it was known that Binance will extend its support for the ruble in two weeks. The function will be carried out through third-party services, Zhao said at the Binance meeting. He has not yet begun to disclose the names of services. The head of the exchange also said that in the future the company plans to issue debit cards tied to the exchange account.
