In Chhattisgarh, education and textbooks will now be provided free of cost for students up to 12th standard. In the chairmanship of Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, on Wednesday, in the Cabinet meeting several important decisions were made. CM Baghel has given a complete list of decisions taken in the meeting on his official Twitter account too.
In the Cabinet meeting it was decided to constitute a Committee to remove complaints and discrepancies related to admission fees of non-government schools. State Minister Ravindra Choubey said that under the right to education in the state, education and text books are arranged for students up to class VIII till date. Now this facility will also be made available to students from class IX to XII.
