China and Russia will start cross-border cable car, this will take 8 minutes to travel from one country to another

Beijing Tourists in China and Russia will soon get new facilities. Now people of both countries will be able to make an international tour through a cable car. That’s just 8 minutes. According to the plan, the cable car will go from Heihe city, located in the northeast of China, to Balagoveshchensk in Russia. During this time people will get an opportunity to see the views of the Amur River on the border. This river gets fully accumulated in winter.

According to the reports, there will be four cabins in the cable car. They will be able to get around 60 passenger and their luggage at one go. These cars will be available every 15 minutes. Two international lines will be laid for them as well. People will travel from one city to another within 8 minutes via cable car. While the non stop trip will be only three and a half minutes.

Project will be unveiled in 2020

This project will be started in 2020 between the two countries. This will prepare the Russian Urban Planning Consultancy Strellka KB. It is believed that crores of passenger from other countries will also reach Russia to enjoy this cable car service. At present, the names of manufacturers of cable car terminals have not been announced by China. But in Russia it has been designed by UN Studios of Amsterdam. The terrace, restaurants and sky-gardens will also be made to show the sights to the passengers in the terminal.

New car for public transport

According to the UN studio founder Ben Van Berkel, this would be the first time to connect the cable car to the cable car of the two countries. This will be a new kind of public transport for the passengers. It is also a fast and energy-saving system. UN Studio has previously designed cable car terminals in Sweden, Gothenburg and the Netherlands.
