Japanese crypto exchange DeCurret announced on the 29th that it has started handling crypto assets Quantum (QTUM) on the board trading service.
In addition, three campaigns commenced on the same day to commemorate the start of handling Quantum.
With the addition of QTUM tokens, total coins managed by the exchange DeCurret has reached seven with updates on the way.
Quantum is an open-source blockchain project developed by the Singapore-based Quantum Foundation and released in December 2016.
The unique point of Quantum is that it has the technology to combine Ethereum’s smart contract functionality with Bitcoin’s unspent transaction output model (UTXO).
Founded in 2016, Quantum performed a hard fork ‘Fast Lane’ on its mainnet in April and has completed 1 million blocks to date.
