England captain suspended for one ODI

The International Cricket Council has suspended Eoin Morgan for one ODI. The match referee Richie Richards is the one who booked Morgan. England threw two overs short of the time.

Jonny Bairstow was chided due to his actions following his dismissal. He has been given a warning.

Morgan has been fined 40% of his match fee. The rest of the team have also been fined and have been forced to dole out 20%.

The ICC has penalized England for their slow over-rate. This is the second time Morgan has been sentenced this year.

England at present is leading in the series against Pakistan, with a score of 2-0 after two wins.
