Activation of Ethereum’s Istanbul hard fork’s test network has been postponed until early October, according to Hudson Jameson, community director of the Ethereum Foundation.
According to CoinDesk, the developers said the launch of hard-fortified testnet is now scheduled to take place in early October. This is not the first delay for Ethereum’s Istanbul hard fork. On 28 August, the hard fork was delayed until 6 September. There is now another delay for Ethereum’s Istanbul hard fork and the date has been set for October 2.
Cointelegraph reported earlier, Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin said the Ethereum Blockchain was almost full and prevented potential Ethereum participants from adopting new ones.
