Cryptocurrency firms FTX, Everstake, and Kuna have together created a new crypto donations website in partnership with the Ukrainian government amid the ongoing geopolitical tensions in the region.

“Jointly with the blockchain company @everstake_pool and the cryptocurrency exchange @FTX_Official, we’ve launched the website “Aid For Ukraine” to collect crypto for supporting the army,” Ukraine’s Ministry of Digital Transformation tweeted Monday.

The official website where users from around the world can make crypto donations to Ukraine goes live: https://t.co/UJhiA1jBWc. It has never been so easy to support 🇺🇦! A beautiful joint initiative of our @mintsyfra in partnership with @everstake_pool and @FTX_Official. We win!

The new donations website, called “Aid for Ukraine,” will see its donations reverted to the National Bank of Ukraine. The crowdfunding site has already fetched over $48.5 million out of the total $200 million it plans to raise. Interested donors can contribute towards the fundraise in Bitcoin, Tether, Ethereum, Polkadot, Solana, Dogecoin, Monero, ICON, and NEO N3.

Major crypto exchange FTX, Ukraine-based crypto exchange Kuna, and crypto-staking platform EverStake have co-established the website which will be used to support the country’s humanitarian aid programs and the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

So far, the Ukrainian government and NGOs have received more than $100 million in cryptocurrency donations, various news outlets have revealed.
