He remembers Abdul Kalam's fourth death anniversary, people are saluting him on social media

National Desk. Today (27 July) the entire nation is remembering him on the fourth death anniversary of APJ Abdul Kalam, known as the former President and Missileman of the country. In 2015, he died of a heart attack while giving a speech at the Indian Institute of Management in Shillong. Kalam is considered the father of the Indian missile system and space program. He was born on 15 October 1931 in Rameswaram, Tamil Nadu in a very simple Muslim family. His full name was Avul Pakir Zainulabadin Abdul Kalam. His father rode the boat and was the Imam of the local mosque, while his mother took care of the house. He was the youngest of four brothers and one sister. He also distributed newspapers for earning in the early stages. He studied Physics and Aerospace Engineering. He then spent the next 40 years as a scientist in DRDO (Defense Research and Development Organization) and ISRO (Indian Space Research Organization). In 1997, he was awarded the Bharat Ratna. The nuclear tests that India conducted in Pokhran in the year 1998 were done under his guidance. In 2002, he was sworn in as the 11th President of India. He held this position till 2007. During his tenure, he took the presidency to a new dimension and made a place in the hearts of common people. He was most popular especially among children and youth. The countrymen are remembering him with great respect on his death anniversary.
