What is Hedera (HBAR)? Hedera Hashgraph (HBAR) is a project that develops and provides DLT (Distributed Ledger Technology). It uses a data structure called a directed acyclic graph (DAG) instead of a blockchain. The consensus algorithm utilizes an asynchronous Byzantine fault tolerance (aBFT) algorithm called Hashgraph. HBAR, a unique token, is used for staking within the network.
