The partnership between Hedera and MetaVRse will enable the development of large-scale enterprise-oriented Metaverse solutions on the Hedera network in the future. As part of the alliance, the HBAR Foundation will offer organizational support and funds to MetaVRse in order to develop quick and simple Web 3.0 and metaverse solutions.
MetaVRse Co-Founder Alan Smithson said in the announcement:
“The Metaverse is the future of human communication, collaboration and commerce. This partnership brings the best-in-class services of MetaVRse and the Hedera Network together to unlock the power of the Metaverse for everyone.”
MetaVRse is a Web 3.0-based 3D game engine that provides an immersive experience combining AR and VR elements in a format called Cross-Reality (XR).
The company acquired 3D deep tech platform “Cherry3D” in June 2020 to offer a gaming engine called “MetaVRse Engine”. Its new venture has been adopted by major companies, including Samsung, Mastercard, JP Morgan, Siemens, and Hilti.
Established in Sept. 2021, the HBAR Foundation makes independent decision-making power regarding the management of HBAR and the projects built on the Hedera network.
