ICICI Bank profits to Rs 1908 crore, net interest margin up 3.61%

new Delhi. ICICI Bank made a standalone profit of Rs 1,908 in the April-June quarter. There was a loss of Rs 120 crore in the June quarter of last year. The bank’s income increased from Rs 18,574.17 crore to Rs 21,405.50 crore.

Net interest income increased by 27% to Rs 7,737 crore. 6,102 crore in the June quarter of last year. Net interest margin (NIM) has also increased. It has increased from 3.19% to 3.61%.

Net NPA came down to 1.77%

Gross NPA declined to 6.49%. This improved asset quality. Gross NPA was 8.81% in the June quarter of last year. Net NPA has come down from 4.19% to 1.77%. Provisioning of NPAs stood at 3,495.73 crores. 5,971.29 crores in April-June 2018.
