This is the first time in the world, when a government has approved the use of hyperlop technology for public transport. After the Hyperloop preparation, the journey of Mumbai-Pune will be decided in just 35 minutes. This distance from the roadway is completed within three and a half hours.
Hyperlot speed will be 1200 km / h
This project will not only generate new jobs but will also benefit the economic and social sectors more than Rs. 24 thousand crores. This train will run at twice the speed of the bullet train on magnetic technology with pod (track). In the hyperloop like capsules that pass through the vacuum tube system, this train will run at a speed of about 1200 km per hour.
World’s First Hyperloop Project
According to the company associated with the project, the Maharashtra government is the first in the world, which has supported Hyperloop technology. This will be the world’s first hyperloop project. In front of the government this project was kept by DP World and Virgin Hyperlop One. The company is ready to invest Rs 34 billion in the first phase of this project.

According to the report, 75 million passengers travel every year from Mumbai to Pune. By 2026 the number will be 13 million. The company claims that HyperLop Transportation System is capable of meeting this demand. Through this, 20 million passengers can travel annually.
