Indian Cryptocurrency Exchange Lists Tron-Based WINk

Blockchain

Indian-based cryptocurrency exchange WazirX has announced that it will be listing WIN, a Tron-based cryptocurrency. Users can thus trade WIN in India on WazirX’s USDT market.

WIN is the cryptocurrency traded by WINk, an online blockchain gaming DApp (decentralised application) which is based on the Tron {TRX} blockchain. WIN is thus a TRC-20 utility token.

Accordingly, WazirX will also be supporting the planned WIN airdrop on its cryptocurrency exchange, joining the ranks of exchanges such as Binance. WIN will be transferred to all accounts on Tron’s blockchain that have a balance greater than or equal to 100 of Tron’s cryptocurrency, TRX.

The airdrop will occur on 28th August, 2019 at 00:00:00 SGT, with the total amount to be airdropped 10,989,000,000 WINk (WIN). This corresponds to 1.1% of the total supply. 1 WIN is currently $0.000371 USD. WIN plans on conducting airdrops for three years, with 1.2% of the total supply offered in the first year, 1.3% of the total supply given in the second year, and 1.4% of WIN total supply airdropped to TRX holders.

After the initial one, the airdrop will be occurring on a monthly basis. WazirX plans on taking a snapshot of the user’s TRX balance on the 27th of every month at 9:30 PM IST. The WIN that will be received is equal to the amount of TRX held by them in the snapshot multiplied by the total WIN received by WazirX based on total holdings for each respective monthly airdrop. It is important to note that users who hold less than 100 TRX will not be eligible for the airdrop.

What is WINk?

The top decentralised application (DApp) in terms of volume is a DApp on the Tron platform called WINk. WINk only recently announced the launch of its token, WIN, through the Binance Launchpad.
