Blockchain network IOST announced on the 14th that it has partnered with Zodium, a Play2Earn Project, to accelerate its development in NFT and Blockchain game sectors.
According to the announcement, Zodium and IOST have also partnered to develop a practical IP business in addition to NFTs and games, based on their mutual goals to form the content IP industry in the blockchain field.
The blog post read:
“Under this partnership, Zodium will embrace the ecosystem of IOST and grow globally with IOST’s worldwide vision and infrastructure.”
Zodium is a “Play-to-Earn” project that combines NFTs and games, where users can earn and trade ZODI tokens and NFTs by playing games. In addition, users can get limited benefits by acquiring the same type of character as their zodiac signs.
The game’s native tokens will offer governance rights and wage payments to holders. They have built a transparent atmosphere that allows them to build their own kingdom.
Zodium will be available by the end of the third quarter of 2021.
Currently, Zodium is based on the ERC-20 standard but is preparing to support chain swaps amongst mainnets such as BSC (BEP20), Matic (Polygon), and IOST.
IOST has been making positive efforts in the NFT industry these days. The network recently announced that Japan’s mixed martial arts federation will launch an NFT marketplace on the IOST network by the end of this year.
