Eric Hop is a software engineer who joined the IOTA Foundation midway through April during the previous year. He had obtained his BSc in the Netherlands and has been passionate about computer science since then. Eric has been involved with Phillips and Sony and has been a diligent cog for almost 40 years.
Predominantly choosing to operate as a freelancer, Eric now resides in Vancouver. A while back, Volkswagen had announced the arrival of a brand-new vehicle that would come loaded with an IOTA-based wallet [Jaguar Land Rover conducted a presentation a few weeks ago so as to showcase a similar deal]. Thus, someone [within the community] had questioned the Foundation with regards to the introduction of this specific car [by Volkwagen].
In response to this, Eric stated, “I can tell you that things are definitely happening. But we’ve been more careful in disseminating news announcements after the whole Microsoft fiasco. We focus more on news about working tech or actual solid partnerships and less on pre-announcing partnerships.” Perhaps Justin Sun aka “The Hype Man” can learn something from the folks at IOTA.
IOTA is an undervalued project whose applications [in the real-world] are rising with every passing month. Coordicide will be implemented soon as well, bringing in “smart decentralization”.
