After selling her highly collectible Halloween NFT collection last month, business and cultural icon Martha Stewart is all set to launch her second NFT collection, this time based on Thanksgiving.
Announcing the news on Monday, Stewart will release her second collection on her NFT boutique MarthaFRESHMint.com. Rightfully called by TIME Magazine as the “Queen of Thanksgiving”, Stewart is set to launch a collection of 100 NFT images, along with an animated NFT called “The First Thanksgiving ‘remembering 1994.”
The collection will feature a signed digital cover from the 1994 Thanksgiving issue, and a one-of-a-kind recording of Martha reading her first Thanksgiving “remembering” article. The NFTs, including possibly the world’s first storytelling NFT, will be minted on Ethereum blockchain in collaboration with Tokns Commerce, an NFT solutions provider for famous brands and creators.
“Storytelling is a bit of a lost art, so I am thrilled to be bringing it into the world of NFTs just in time for the holidays,” said Martha Stewart in the press release. “It was nostalgic for me to re-read my first ‘Remembering’ article from nearly 30 years ago. I enjoyed recounting and recording the story of that first Thanksgiving in my own home, burned turkey and all.”
