new Delhi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi attended the Kargil Victory Day celebrations on Saturday evening. During this, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh was also present. On this occasion, Prime Minister Modi said that Pakistan has often resorted to cheating about Kashmir, but in 1999, we sneezed its cheat. He said that I pay tribute to those martyrs who have failed to bring the Tricolor out of the Kargil peaks. There, I bow to the mothers of blood shed jawans. I also appreciate the people of Jammu and Kashmir. The Viragatha written 20 years ago will inspire future generations.
During this time, the Prime Minister reviewed the exhibition on the martyrs of Kargil in Indira Gandhi Stadium. He said, “It is duty of the jawans to do everything. Their lives are not tied to the tenure of governments. There can be any ruler, but every Hindustani has the right to the power of the soldiers. I went to Kargil 20 years ago during the war. Then the enemy was playing the game sitting on the peaks. Death was in front, but every young man wanted to go to the top with the tricolor. I also went to the soil in 2014 and bowed to that clay. ”
‘Work to increase scholarship for the martyrs’ children’
The Prime Minister said, “During the war, young people stood for blood donation. The children opened their piglets for the jawans. Atalji had said that if we could not stand with the soldiers who gave life for the country, then we would never be able to repay the debt of the motherland. Our government is working to empower the soldiers. We have completed the work of enhancing scholarships for them in the forest rank one pension and now in the second government for the martyrs’ children. In his memory, the National War Memorial was built. ”
We have never been with violence- Modi
Modi said, “Atalji had said that Pakistan felt that the world would interfere with Kargil and they would succeed in drawing a new line. But we will answer them, the enemy was not expecting it. That made them heavier. Atalji had initiated peace with Pakistan, it started changing the world’s view. The history of India has been that we have never been with violence. The country has gone with the protector of peace and with humanity. ”
On July 26, 20 years of Kargil war has been completed. Earlier on Friday, Narendra Modi had posted his photographs with the soldiers in Kargil in 1999 and paid homage to the martyrs. During this time, the jawans took the mind of everyone by showing the steps of the parade and shocking feats. At the same time, singer Mohit Chauhan also performed.
