Last Friday (22), Nubank published an article explaining how to transfer emergency aid to a fintech account and the official dates informed by Caixa Econômica.

As he explained, Caixa has already started paying the second installment of emergency aid since the 18th. For those who do not receive it through Bolsa Família, the money falls directly into a Digital Savings Account, but it cannot be transferred before May 30th. .

Transferring emergency aid

From the 30th it will be possible to transfer the emergency aid, but the exact day will depend on the beneficiary's birthday month, explains fintech.

This is because when announcing the second installment, Caixa also reported some changes in the calendar, which was different from the first.

As detailed, the new calendar provides for ‘digital use’, where the beneficiary can buy via virtual debit and pay slips through the Caixa Tem app; and ‘withdrawal and transfer’, where, depending on the month of anniversary, it will be possible to transfer the balance.

Fintech also recalled that whoever registered the Nubank account to receive the first installment and still have a balance in digital savings, as of May 30, will have the amount automatically transferred to their digital account.

Another point he noted is that anyone who has not indicated another account in the first installment can also request the transfer of the second, through Caixa Tem, but only on the allowed date.

To make a transfer

To transfer the emergency aid, says fintech, just enter the Nubank account number, the branch number, which is 0001, the name of the institution – Nu Payments S.A. – and confirm the transfer.

How was the 1st installment of Emergency Aid

Emergency aid is a Federal Government aid program for low-income Brazilians during the new coronavirus crisis.

The first installment was paid first to citizens listed in the Single Registry who are not in Bolsa Família. They started receiving from April 9th.

Then it was the turn of those who registered through the Emergency Aid website or APP that had their deposits made from the 14th of the same month.

However, there was a delay in analyzing part of the requests – according to Folha, 16.4 million requests were pending – which affected the calendar.

Some of the problems were due to irregular CPFs, error in filling in and even the citizen's difficulty in operating the application, which caused huge queues at Caixa's branches.
