OASYX first NFT series
Game-specific blockchain Oasys announced that it has decided to collaborate with Sega’s popular 3D fighting game “Virtua Fighter” series 3 in the first NFT series of the related NFT project “OASYX”.
A total of 10,000 copies of the first OASYX have been issued, of which 1,000 will be the “Virtua Fighter Collaboration Version”. In this collaboration, the following 11 characters from the “Virtua Fighter” series (1, 2, 3) will appear in collaboration with the world view of OASYX.

The limited edition “Tamayu ~MAYU~” featuring Virtua Fighter characters will be distributed in limited quantities in March, and is scheduled to be revealed in April 2023.
The first 10,000 characters will be the base of the Metaverse avatar and will be distributed in a Free to Own format. In the future, OASYX will introduce and utilize a wider range of NFTs such as new characters, fashion items, and in-game gadgets.

How the collaboration came about
The Virtua Fighter series is a title created by Yu Suzuki, who supervised the first OASYX project, when he was a member of Sega. Under the supervision of Yu Suzuki, artist GODTAIL designed the characters, and they were drawn with the taste of “cyber x Japanese”. Yu Suzuki says:
The 3 “Virtua Fighter” series are fighting games that I developed as a director during my time at Sega, making full use of 3DCG technology, which was revolutionary at the time. Since then, the Virtua Fighter series has been loved by many people, and thanks to that, it is still supported by many fans.
This time, OASYX, which I supervised, has a unique world view, and NFT, which utilizes the innovative blockchain technology, will be combined with the three Virtua Fighter series titles to create a new experience for a wide range of game fans. We look forward to providing you with great entertainment.
OASYX is an NFT project for gamers that Oasys officially provides IP. In addition to featuring legendary game creators in each series as supervising worldviews, collaborations with various domestic and international NFT projects are planned.
Each NFT will be given usefulness within the Oasys ecosystem, and further collaborations are expected to be realized as well-known game projects are installed on Oasys. Development company double jump.tokyo will issue NFTs throughout the series.
