More than 60% of existing Bitcoins have not moved for more than a year, data from Glassnode show.

New figures from the market intelligence firm show that investors haven't saved as much Bitcoin since 2016 – a year before the 2017 high. “The last time we saw these levels was just before the 2017 $ BTC bull market. ”Said the company in a tweet.

Bitcoin investors have recently demonstrated that they are optimistic about the market. Despite a disastrous fall in March, the cryptocurrency made an incredible recovery, accumulating more than 30% of gains in 2020.

In fact, the Hodlers' net position – the change in monthly position of long-term investors – remained positive during the crash and reached new highs.

Glassnode also said last month that while long-term investors maintained their investments, retail investors were using the falls to invest more.
