Raid seizes assets of Rs. 1.94 from the property of Haryana Chief Minister Om Prakash Chautala!!

New Delhi: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Friday said that it has seized assets of Rs 1.94 crore from the national capital house of Haryana Chief Minister Omprakash Chautala , after a raid conducted due to a case registered regarding property income.

According to the investigating agency, property (land and a farm house) has been seized under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act -2002. The ED had earlier seized properties of Om Prakash Chautala worth Rs 4.15 crore.

ED has acted under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act on the basis of the FIR and the chargesheet filed against Om Prakash Chautala, Abhay Chautala and Ajay Chautala under various sections of the Indian Penal Code and the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988.
