Heavy rains in Assam and Meghalaya have been estimated in the next 24 hours. After this rain will decrease. Uttarakhand, northern part of Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Chandigarh and north of Punjab and Haryana will also rain in the next 4-5 days.
There is a possibility of rains from July 18 in Odisha and Chhattisgarh. There will be heat for another day in Chennai. It is expected to be at least 29 degrees Celsius and maximum temperature is 34 degrees Celsius.
