Users can now issue and trade NFTs on Rarible using the Tezos blockchain. With the integration, Rarible will also feature NFTs minted on Tezos and support their secondary sales. Apart from Tezos, Rarible is compatible with Ethereum and Flow blockchain and plans to integrate with more chains in the future.

In addition to Rarible, popular gaming company Ubisoft recently announced its integration with Tezos to tokenize its NFTs and make its new NFT platform more ‘energy-efficient’.

Rarible is a popular platform that allows for easy NFT issuance. According to its official website, the marketplace has over 1.6 million users and has issued more than 400,000 NFTs to date. With the integration of the Tezos, users can easily issue and trade NFTs. Moreover, the company plans to add a function that grants royalties to NFTs issued on Tezos, per the report.

In an interview with Cointelegraph, Rarible CEO Alexei Falin noted:

“Rarible firmly believes that the future of NFTs is cross-chain, and that interoperability is the key to a streamlined, successful NFT ecosystem. We have seen many alternative blockchains gain traction in the NFT space for their unique offerings, specifically Tezos for its low costs and energy-efficient minting process through proof-of-stake validation.”
