Reliance Jio has launched a new version of its Jio GigaFiber broadband service into the market. This service has been made available in a Security Deposit of Rs 2,500. If seen, it is cheaper than the broadband service introduced in the last year, 2,000 rupees.Under the new service, the company is giving a slightly weaker optical network terminal (ONT). This is a single band router. But on the new device, Geo Geiger broadband service is very similar to the current GigaHub Home Gateway.
Jio GigaFiber is not yet available in the country. But in cities such as Chennai and Mumbai, customers can take a new geo gigaphiber connection in a security deposit of Rs 2,500. This amount will be recovered after removing the connection. Internet access can also be made from the router found in the new version. But it comes with single band support. The speed limit is 50 Mbps. This information was given by the Twitter user, Preshit Deorukhar. It has been claimed that the voice calling service is also available with these connections.
It is worth noting that the ONT device originally offered by Reliance Jio came with dual band connectivity. It is capable of speeds of 100 Mbps.
We have contacted Reliance Jio about the new version. The news will be updated as soon as we get the information. In the annual general meeting of Reliance Industries last year, it was revealed that Geo GigaFiiber device will be used for broadband, IPTV, landline, video conferencing, VR gaming and smart connectivity.
