A Sikh man was denied entry into a restaurant for wearing a turban. The incident reportedly took place in US’ Port Jefferson. The Sikh man named,Gurvinder Grewal said,
“I felt shocked, embarrassed and hurt. I never encountered a situation where I was refused a service or entry into an establishment for wearing a turban,”
Grewal is a graduate from the Stony Brook University.The reason for restricting his entry to the restaurant was because of the new policy of the restaurant that they followed.However the restaurant changed it’s policy after the incident.
