Supreme Court defers decision to bring victim to Delhi, orders uncle to shift to Tihar

new Delhi. The Supreme Court has deferred the decision to bring Unnao rape victim from Lucknow hospital to Delhi. During the hearing on Friday, the Solicitor General told the court that the victim’s family wanted that she should not be shifted from King George Hospital (KGMU) in Lucknow until the condition of her daughter and lawyer was recovered. Apart from this, the apex court has ordered the victim’s uncle to shift from Rae Bareli Jail to Tihar Jail.

The Supreme Court has now prohibited the transfer of the case with the victim to Delhi. The court said that the matter will not be transferred to Delhi for 15 days until its investigation is complete. Earlier, the truck driver and cleaner were produced before the CBI court on Friday.

CRPF reached the victim’s home for security

Following the Supreme Court order, the CRPF has given security cover to the victim’s family and lawyers. The CBI has called the policemen investigating the case to Lucknow. The Supreme Court has directed the CBI to complete the investigation of the accident within 7 days. On Friday, the CRPF reached the victim’s village in Unnao. Apart from the family, the lawyer advocating the case of the victim’s uncle has also been given CRPF protection. Four personnel have been deployed under his protection. Earlier, the state government late night handed over a check of Rs 25 lakh to the victim’s family.

There is no improvement in the victim’s condition even on the fifth day

On Sunday (July 28), while going to Rae Bareli, the condition of the victim who was a victim of a road accident is critical. He is on ventilator at KGMU, Lucknow. His condition is not improving even on the fifth day. The victim’s aunt and aunt were killed in the accident. Chachi was also a CBI witness in the rape case. In this case, on Tuesday, the CBI registered a case against the victim’s uncle Tahrir against 10 people including MLA Kuldeep Singh Sengar and his brother.

Hearing was held in the Supreme Court on the letter of the victim

On Thursday, the Supreme Court had heard Unnao’s rape victim’s letter written to the Chief Justice on 12 July. Meanwhile, Chief Justice Ranjan Gogoi directed the Uttar Pradesh government to provide protection to the victim and his family. Apart from this, 25 lakh compensation should also be given as interim relief. The court had also ordered to transfer all the cases related to the rape victim to Delhi. Apart from this, the CBI was directed that the investigation into the road accident should be completed within 7 days and the remaining cases should be heard within 45 days.

The girl was raped in 2017 and the girl was gang-raped in 2017. It is alleged that MLA Sengar and others raped the girl on the pretext of getting a job. The victim was a minor at that time. The victim’s father later died in police custody. It is alleged that the MLA beat her father. After the father’s death, the victim attempted self-immolation in front of the Chief Minister’s residence in Lucknow. The SIT was then handed over the investigation. The investigation is currently with the CBI. On Wednesday, BJP expelled MLA Sengar from the party. Sanger is currently in Sitapur jail.

During the 5 FIR hearings in the rape case so far , the Supreme Court inquired about the rape case. The Solicitor General said that there were 4 FIRs in the rape-related case. These accused and the aggrieved party have lodged against each other. The fifth FIR is related to a car accident in Rae Bareli. Chargesheet has been filed in three of the five cases.
