new Delhi. The Supreme Court on Thursday heard the letter written to the Chief Justice of Unnao’s rape victim on 12 July. During this, Chief Justice Ranjan Gogoi directed the Uttar Pradesh government to provide protection to the victim and his family. Apart from this, 25 lakh compensation should also be given as interim relief. The court ordered the transfer of all cases related to the rape victim to Delhi. Apart from this, the CBI directed that the investigation into the road accident should be completed within 7 days and the hearing of the remaining cases should be completed within 45 days.
The victim was traveling with her family from Unnao to Rae Bareli on July 28, when a truck hit the front. The victim’s aunt and aunt died in the accident. The victim is on ventilator. The CBI is investigating the case.

Chief Justice Ranjan Gogoi said – Uttar Pradesh government should give 25 lakh rupees compensation as interim relief to the victim. In addition, protection should be provided to the victim, her lawyer, the victim’s mother, her 4 siblings, her uncle and extremely close relatives in Unnao.
The victim is on ventilator, condition critical Chief Justice asked during the hearing how the situation of the victim is still there. At this the Solicitor General told that he is on ventilator. The rape victim wrote a letter to the Chief Justice on 12 July after receiving threats, in a letter written to the Chief Justice Gogoi on 12 July, the victim and her mother had called for protection. It wrote that action should be taken against those who threaten him. People come home and threaten to withdraw the case. It is said that if he does not do this, then he will get you trapped in a false case and will be jailed for life. However, this letter was not brought to the notice of the Chief Justice. During the hearing on Wednesday, the Chief Justice questioned the Secretary General of the Supreme Court Registry about this. The Secretary General said that on an average, 5000 letters come to the Supreme Court every month. The registry received 6,900 letters in July. Of these, 1,100 letters were petitions. They were screened according to the Supreme Court guidelines. In this case, the registry did not even get the name of the victim.
The girl was raped in 2017 and the girl was gang-raped in 2017. It is alleged that MLA Sengar and others raped the girl on the pretext of getting a job. The victim was a minor at that time. The victim’s father later died in police custody. It is alleged that the MLA beat her father. After the father’s death, the victim attempted self-immolation in front of the Chief Minister’s residence in Lucknow. The SIT was then handed over the investigation. The investigation is currently with the CBI. Meanwhile, BJP on Wednesday expelled MLA Sengar from the party. Sanger is currently in jail.
During the 5 FIR hearings in the rape case so far , the Supreme Court inquired about the rape case. The Solicitor General said that there were 4 FIRs in the rape-related case. These accused and the aggrieved party have lodged against each other. The fifth FIR is related to a car accident in Rae Bareli. Chargesheet has been filed in three of the five cases.
