When Mark Pedowitz became part of the CW network in 2011 as the president, Netflix and The CW were already engaged in talks regarding a deal.
For the very first time since Mark has been leading The CW, old seasons of any new series coming out will not be airing on their own on Netflix.
When asked for a comment on why the Netflix-CW deal has not been renewed, and how will CW’s future be affected by the split, he responded in a casual tone that they wouldn’t be rattled so easily.
Their brand name is widespread and it is up to the partners of the firm, who decide where else the past seasons of their shows are to be screened.
The shows that Netflix had on their site till now include Arrow, Black Lightning, Charmed, Dynasty, Riverdale, Supernatural, and so on. Let’s see how well both the networks perform without the help of each other.
