Bengaluru The debate on the vote of confidence in Karnataka assembly for nearly 14 hours on Monday. Despite this, the floor test could not be done. During the debate, Speaker Ramesh Kumar had to use a tone of accent. Actually, the Congress and JDS members shouted slogans in the House. These people said that unless the decision of resignation of rebel legislators is decided, the floor test should not be done. Eventually the speaker adjourned the assembly till 10 a.m. on late at night. But, he also said that the floor test will be done before 6 o’clock on this day.

Before the proceedings of the assembly began, the Speaker issued notice to 15 rebel legislators on the issue of ineligibility. Speaker summoned the MLAs to their office on July 23 at 11 o’clock. During the proceedings, the speaker said, “Today I will pass an order. The delay in understanding the Supreme Court order All members should maintain dignity in the House. Here, waste of time, the image of assembly, speaker and MLAs is bleak. ”

The Supreme Court’s refusal to hear the appeal of Independent legislators, the Supreme Court had earlier refused to hear the petition of two independent legislators. On Sunday, two independent legislators who withdrew support to the Congress-JDS government had asked the Supreme Court to order floor test by Monday evening till 5 PM. On the other hand, the only BSP MLA from the state, An Mahesh, was asked by party chief Mayawati to support Kumaraswamy’s favor. Earlier, Anne Mahesh had said that he would remain neutral during the floor test. However, during the debate on the Vote vote, BSP MLAs were absent in the House.

The Congress filed a petition in the Supreme Court against the Supreme Court judgment, in which the verdict of the apex court was challenged on July 17. Karnatak Congress chief Dinesh Gundu Rao filed a petition seeking the clarification on the decision by the court. It states that the order of the court affects the party’s right to issue whip.

Viswanath. JDS has said that if the legislators remain non-existent or vote against the trust vote then action will be taken to disqualify the party under the law. However, Congress legislator Ramalinga Reddy, who resigned, said that he is in the party and will vote in favor of the government.
