Ukraine’s Ministry of Digital Transformation announced Friday that it has launched a non-fungible token collection in an effort to seek more donations amid the Russian invasion of Ukraine. So far, the Ukrainian government has raised more than $65 million in crypto donations.

The project, called the ‘Meta History: Museum of War’, is a collection of 54 NFTs that documents facts and events that occurred during the Russian ongoing war against the country. Each NFT depicts an artwork created by local or international artists coupled with a news headline or post.

“While Russia uses tanks to destroy Ukraine, we rely on revolutionary blockchain tech.
@Meta_History_UA NFT-Museum is launched. The place to keep the memory of war. And the place to celebrate the Ukrainian identity and freedom,” Mykhailo Fedorov, the Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, tweeted Friday.

According to a Reuters report, the funds raised via the NFT sale will be directly transferred to the Ukrainian Ministry of Digital Transformation for humanitarian aid. Each NFT will cost around 0.15 ether, worth roughly $475 at the time of writing.
