US ProShare Bitcoin (BTC) ETF, which was scheduled to launch on the 18th, has been revealed to launch on the 19th, the New York Times reported on Monday.
A Bitcoin Futures ETF is a Bitcoin ETF that is managed and traded on Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME). Proshares and NYSE Arca have told The New York Times that they will launch a Bitcoin ETF tomorrow (19th).
The “Post-Valid Prospectus” submitted by ProShares on the 15th was scheduled to officially launch on October 18. It would be listed on the New York Stock Exchange Arca and the ticker symbol would be “BITO”.
The company submitted a Bitcoin ETF application to the US SEC (Securities and Exchange Commission) this summer. It was virtually approved as of the 15th since the SEC did not reject it within 75 days of submission.
