US payments giant Visa has posted new job openings related to its cryptocurrency business on Wednesday. The postings, first highlighted by media outlet Blockworks, include a variety of occupations such as directors, analysts, and UX designers.

Visa has been gradually strengthening its team in the cryptocurrency division, focusing on several elements of the sector including, Bitcoin, stablecoins, non-fungible tokens (NFT), and decentralized finance (DeFi).
In addition, the Visa crypto-linked cards issued in partnership with 50 crypto platforms such as Coinbase and Binance, have recorded transactions worth over $1 billion in the first half of 2021. The card allowed any user to convert and spend digital currency at more than 70 million Visa-affiliated merchants.
The job vacancies posted by Visa majorly require potential candidates to collaborate with cryptocurrency wallets, exchanges, and banks; explore crypto-related partnerships and revenue opportunities with new products, and find new trend opportunities in the sector.
