One user sent 5,500 BTC, equivalent to more than R $ 180 million to Binance's portfolio.

The transfer, included in block 623468, took place on Sunday (29) at 11:29 am. To carry out the transaction, a fee of only 0.00008151 BTC (R $ 2.70) was paid.

According to the Twitter account Whale Alert, dedicated to reporting large volume transfers, the sender is unknown.

Generally, when a considerable volume is transferred to an exchange, an alert is triggered in the market about a possible eviction, leading to a drop in price. And it seems that it happened.

A few hours after that transfer, the price of bitcoin fell $ 300, to $ 5,800, but recovered on Monday and is already trading above $ 6,500.
